LoveJoy Hormone Clinic was founded in 2019 by Joy and Jon Melby with a mission to provide thoughtful, patient-centered hormone therapy care for men and women.
As LoveJoy has grown, our focus has remained the same: helping patients feel heard, supported, and informed throughout their care journey.
From your first conversation with our team to your follow-up appointments, we aim to make the process clear, personal, and comfortable.

Joy Melby, FNP-C
Provider & Medical Director
Joy provides patient-centered hormone therapy care and helps guide LoveJoy’s clinical standards as Medical Director. She supports patients with a thoughtful, informed approach to BHRT and overall wellness.
Debra Bartine, FNP-C
Provider & Assistant Medical Director
Debra provides hormone therapy care while also supporting LoveJoy’s clinical workflows and provider team. She helps patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their treatment journey.
Catherine Kent-Murtaugh, FNP-C
Provider
Catherine provides compassionate hormone therapy care and works with patients to review symptoms, labs, and treatment options. She helps patients feel heard and supported.
Ruth Lofton, FNP-C
Provider
Ruth provides thoughtful hormone therapy care with a focus on patient education, support, and follow-through. She helps patients navigate their treatment plan with clarity and confidence.

Melissa Salgado
Front Office Manager
Melissa supports the Chandler clinic by helping patients with scheduling, communication, check-in support, and day-to-day clinic coordination. She helps create a welcoming and organized experience for patients.
Juan Armenta
Medical Assistant
Juan supports patient care at the Chandler clinic through appointment preparation, clinical support, patient communication, and daily clinic workflows. He helps patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for during their visit.
Mesa Clinic
Kaylan Shipman
Medical Assistant Lead
Kaylan supports patient care at the Mesa clinic and helps guide LoveJoy’s medical assistant workflows. She assists with clinical support, patient care coordination, and team training to help keep care consistent across the clinic.
Sarah Trow
Front Office Manager
Sarah supports patient care at the Mesa clinic through appointment preparation, patient communication, clinical support, and daily clinic workflows. She helps patients feel welcomed, supported, and prepared throughout their visit.

Jennifer supports all New Patients. From communication, clinic coordination, marketing, and operational flow for LoveJoy. Her role helps connect the patient experience with the internal systems that keep the clinic running smoothly.

Chandler Clinic
Our Chandler clinic was LoveJoy’s first location, opened in 2019. Located near Alma School Rd. and Chandler Heights Rd., this clinic continues to serve patients throughout Chandler and the surrounding Southeast Valley.

Mesa Clinic
Our Mesa clinic opened in 2023 to better support the growing Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and East Mesa communities. Located near Ellsworth Rd. and Guadalupe Rd., this clinic helps make LoveJoy’s care more accessible to patients across the East Valley.

Payson Clinic
Our Payson clinic opened in 2021 to support patients in the Tonto Rim area. This location is currently open a few days per month by appointment only, with a LoveJoy provider and support staff traveling to Payson to care for patients locally.

Co-Founder & President/CEO
Jon is the Co-Founder and President/CEO of LoveJoy Hormone Clinic. He helps guide the clinic’s vision, growth, and long-term direction while supporting LoveJoy’s commitment to a thoughtful, patient-centered experience.

Assistant Medical Director
Debra serves as LoveJoy’s Assistant Medical Director and supports the clinic’s providers, clinical workflows, and patient care standards. She helps ensure patients receive consistent, informed, and compassionate care throughout their hormone therapy journey.

Michael supports LoveJoy’s operations, patient experience, systems, and business infrastructure. His role focuses on helping the clinic run smoothly, improve internal processes, and continue delivering a consistent, professional experience for patients.
